When things happen
You don’t understand,
Set back and relax
God has a plan.
He’s a man of His word
His promises are true,
He’s never lied to me
And He won’t lie to you.
Yes, you’re brokenhearted
And yes, you’re feeling pain,
But when God takes over
That’s all going to change.
As sure as the sun
Shines up in the sky,
He loves you dearly
And hears your faintest cry.
So, take heart today
Dear child of God,
He has a plan
And…
You won’t be forgot.
